The Kletten K is an alternative version of Helle's smallest blade.
Using the newly invented kebony technique Helle has been able to create a stronger handle in an attractive dark finish.
The Kebony techique is a Norwegian innovation whereby wood is stabilized using waste biomass, making traditional northern woods denser and darker in the same process. The result is a sustainable wood that outperforms traditional, exotic hardwoods. The scales on the new Kletten K are made from kebonized maple, which leaves the patterning of the maple intact while strengthening the already dense structure of the maple further.
The Kletten K blade is 55mm long with a drop point design made out of Helle's triple laminated stainless steel to ensure strength, durability and corrosion resistance. Attached to the blade is a curly birch handle (80mm) reinforced with steel liners and a stable lockback design.
When extended the Kletten feels like a small fixed blade knife due to its lockback design combined with the sharpness that has been aquired using a razor-sharp Scandinavian flat grind makes the Kletten is the perfect utility knife when your on the go.
The contoured handle combined with the small finger guard help to protect the users hand while providing a comfortable grip to allow for the maximum dexterity and handeling of the blade.
