Helle-Wabakimi, triple laminated steel, 84mm blade, curly birch handle. Les Stroud designed
The third knife collaborated on by Helle and the survival expert Les Stroud the Wabakimi is a medium sized survival knife.
The Wabakimi is the combination of lessons learnt Helle's previouse collaborations with Les Stroud. By combining the Temagami's ergonomic handle and long pointed blade with the Mandra's blade shape has resulted in Helle's best survival knife yet weighing in at only 135g it is suitable for long treks through wilderness while still being large enough to fill most roles (precision cuts and carving game).
The Wabakimi's blade is made out of Helle's triple layered stainless steel to provide strenth, druabilty and corrosion resistance. With a rounded blade design like the Mandra's measuring in at 84mm attached using a 3/4 partial tang to a curly birch handle (117mm) the Wabakimi is more than adequate for your next camping trip.
The Wabakimi comes with a leather sheath and a lanyard hole at the base of the handle.
